This trek begins in the community of Socma, a small town surrounded by splendid nature; it is about 4 hours of walking passing through impressive landscapes of the Peruvian Andes, mountains, rivers, hidden roads, the Perolniyoc waterfall, which is hidden in a forest of abundant vegetation and on it, the Racaypata archaeological site, you can enjoy nature and unique culture.

Acclimatization:
We recommend you be in Cusco at least 2 days before your trek to be acclimatized to Cusco’s altitude so that you won’t have a problem during the tour.

We will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 07:00 am. We start our tour by bus until we reach the town of Socma, where we will start our trek.

After about 45 minutes of walking uphill, we will arrive at the first point to appreciate the waterfall. We will stop there for a moment to enjoy the view and take some pictures. We will then continue about 30 minutes more uphill to reach the archaeological site of Raqaypata.

After some explanations about the site by the guide and taking pictures, we will begin the walk down to the community of Socma where we will have our box lunch; after lunch we will take our transport and go to Ñaupa Iglesia, a mystical place, where the Incas performed its rituals, after visiting this archaeological site we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 pm.
