Pillones Waterfall Trek – 1 Day

Visit the Imata Stone Forest and Pillones Waterfall, where you will witness the action of nature in the formations of the landscape. Located in the highest areas of Arequipa, to reach it, we will take a short walk along a rocky path typical of the Peruvian Andes. We will also walk through a Stone Forest in Imata, rock formations made naturally thousands of years ago, keeping many mysteries made into legends that our guide will tell you about.

Our adventure begins in the city of Arequipa, where we will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa between 6:00 am, and 6:30 am to take you and enjoy our service.

The first point we will visit is the town of “Pampa de Arrieros” and its old Train Station.
Then we will visit the “National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca,” where you can see the “Vicuñas” in their natural habitat.

Then we will go through the “Patahuasi Castles,” where we will take a break to have a “Mate Inca” or snack.
Continuing with the tour, we will arrive at the viewpoint of “Carlitos” to view the volcanoes of Arequipa.
From there, we will start our trek through the “Stone Forest of Imata.”

Then we will continue with the tour by car, arriving at the town center of “Pillones” where is the “Pillones Waterfall”; where we will descend to the waterfall.
Finally, we will be returning to Arequipa between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm.
