Sacred Valley Paragliding Tour – 1 Day

Paragliding in Cusco provides unparalleled views of the Sacred Valley. It is one of the most exciting and adrenaline-filled experiences that you won’t soon forget!

We work with a partner that offers tandem flights with trained, experienced and professionally certified pilots. There is no prior experience necessary, and all ages are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. The Sacred Valley conditions allow for daily departures all year round, it’s rare that we cannot fly.

We should know the evening before when we will start our day as paragliding is heavily dependent on the weather and wind conditions – but be prepared for an early start.
We meet our private transport in the centre of Cusco. They will take us to the office in the Sacred Valley, where you will get a detailed briefing and will have to sign the necessary documents and waivers (have your passport details ready) – you’ll be offered a warm drink while we wait for all the equipment to be loaded.

Then it’s another short drive to the platform where we will soon be flying from! We may have to wait a while for the weather and wind conditions to be suitable for a safe take-off and flight. A table, chairs, and snacks will be provided to help you get more comfortable and enjoy the view out onto the Sacred Valley.

Once conditions are right and a final set up and test has been completed, and the pilots have the approval to depart, you will receive instructions and a final all ok – your adrenaline may be rushing as you walk towards the edge of the platform but you’ll soon be bursting with excitement as you take off and fly around the valley with beautiful views of the villages below and the snow-capped mountains around.

The flight itself will last about 20 min, and you’ll be picked up where you land to be taken back to the office (for viewing any pictures or video and a celebratory drink) before heading back to Cusco. It will be difficult to predict at what time you’ll arrive back so it’s better not to make any other concrete plans for that day.
