Sacred Valley river rafting tour – Urubamba: Along the Sacred Valley of the Incas extends the Urubamba River that has water flows with levels II, III, IV and V. According to the season, the water increases or decreases.
This adventure takes place in the Urubamba River, and the tour is throughout the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During the River Rafting Tour, you can see traditional and picturesque Andean villages, fabulous views, and feeling a lot of adrenaline. It is undoubtedly a perfect combination of adrenaline and adventure travelling through scenic places with many Andean cultures and traditions.

Pick up from your hotel (8:30am – 9:00am).
We’ll pick you up at your hotel or hostel at around 9:00 am and head north through the Sacred Valley to the Urubamba River. The guide will give you lessons on using the equipment, rafting techniques, and safety instructions before beginning our adventure on the Urubamba River.
During the May-December dry season, we’ll encounter Class III Rapids, and during the December to May rainy season, we’ll tackle Class IV, V, and V+ Rapids. Don’t let the faster ride and larger waves of the rainy season intimidate you- we’ll take all the necessary safety precautions, providing a safety kayak and extra guide during this part of the year.
After about 2 hours on the rapids, we’ll stop for a picnic lunch before embarking on the return trip to Cusco, arriving back in the city around 5:00 pm.
